Scientific contacts and discussions between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are of great importance. The bilateral cooperation concept was put forward by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and continues to be successfully implemented today. The relations between the two countries across economic, humanitarian and other domains are progressing, said Farid Shafieyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), during the roundtable titled “Threats and Opportunities for Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations created by new geopolitical realities.”
According to him, some media outlets are reporting about the issues between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
“I must point out that there are no problems between the two countries. If a problem arises, it is discussed and resolved at the state level. However, there are forces that abuse the situation. We must take effective counter-measures against those seeking to disrupt bilateral ties between the two countries,” Shafiyev noted.
