Azerbaijan’s State Housing Construction Agency (MIDA) plans to provide subsidized housing to 7,000 families in the next two years, said MIDA head Farman Gurbanli, speaking at a panel discussion within the World Habitat Day forum, XQ informs.
He noted that about 3,000 of them will be provided with preferential housing in Baku and about 4,000 in the districts.
Gurbanli emphasized that during the work of MIDA, 7 projects were implemented: “As part of these projects, more than 11,000 apartments were built in 160 buildings, 5 secondary schools, 8 kindergartens, as well as medical and shopping centers. Over the past seven years, MIDA has provided 8,463 families with subsidized apartments.”
