During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Kalbacar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts 242 anti-personnel and 447 anti-tank mines, as well as 909 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized over the past month,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“As a result, 4550.1 hectares were cleared of mines and UXOs over the past month,” the agency added.
