Azerbaijan has been invited to a special meeting of the ministers of environment and mineral resources of the Group of Seven (G7) countries, Report informs.
The invitation was conveyed by Italian Minister of Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Gilberto Pichetto Fratin reminded that this year Italy is presiding over the G7. The minister called the participation of the Azerbaijani side, hosting COP29, in the special meeting of the G7 ministers of environment and mineral resources important.
