Two schoolchildren have been detained in France on suspicion of recently sending threatening messages about planting bombs in educational institutions across the country, according to the BFMTV channel, Report informs referring to TASS.

A law enforcement source reported that two brothers, born in 2005 and 2007, were detained in the Parisian suburb of Malakoff. It is not specified what charges they may face.

Since March 20, about 130 educational institutions in the republic have received letters threatening to carry out a terror attack. The messages were sent through ENT's internal messaging system, presumably through hacked student accounts.
