Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he expects Putin to visit Türkiye after the municipal elections in the republic, scheduled for March 31, Report informs via TASS.
"We continue our dialogue with both of our neighbors on the Black Sea. After the elections, we will receive Russian President Vladimir Putin," he said.
At the end of February, Putin had a telephone conversation with Erdogan, during which he promised not to delay his trip to the republic too much. During the conversation, Putin congratulated the Turkish leader on his 70th birthday.
