Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Armenia needs a new Constitution, according to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, Report informs via the Armenian media.
He noted that the Republic of Armenia needs not constitutional amendments, but a new Constitution.
He noted that changes are taking place in the world, which will inevitably affect the South Caucasus region, as well as Armenia.
"This change can be treated differently. But no matter how we treat evolution, it happens. Therefore, our position and approach should not be to stop this evolution, this in itself is illogical, because by stopping evolution, we will come to degradation, but the point is to manage it in accordance with the state interests of Armenia," Pashinyan said.
