"Pine tree" in space?

post-img

NASA telescopes published a photo of a starball in space. It is located at a distance of 2500 light years from Earth and consists of cosmic objects with a mass many times greater than the mass of the Sun.

But to increase the resemblance to "Yolka", NASA employees rotated the frame by approximately 150 degrees. That is, the north side faces up. The blue and white lights in the image are young stars emitting X-rays. It is the "Chandra" telescope that captures them.

The green color corresponds to visible data obtained by the 0.9-meter WIYN telescope. With its help, the glow of gas in the nebula was recorded. The white dots in the image – the stars in the foreground and background – were detected by an infrared survey of the sky.

An animated version of the image showing X-rays from stars has also been published. In fact, they flash out of sync, but the frames are chosen to emphasize the resemblance to the Pine Tree.
