A delegation of the Baku State University (BSU) visited Narxoz University of Kazakhstan in the city of Almaty.
Asiman Ilyasov and Shabnam Safarova, the advisors to the BSU rector, met with Aigerim Raimzhanova, Vice President for Development and International Affairs at Narxoz University to discuss the prospects for cooperation in such areas as the internationalization, scientific research and exchange of experience.
The delegation highlighted the work done towards improving the competitiveness of BSU over the past years, as well as the university’s strategic plan.
Aigerim Raimzhanova expressed her confidence that the cooperation would be beneficial for both higher education institutions, adding that the collaboration with BSU, the oldest and largest university of Azerbaijan, would develop even further.
Founded in 1963, today Narxoz University is known as one of the leading higher educational institutions in Kazakhstan, whose main task is to train highly qualified specialists of the new generation.
