Baku Higher Oil School completes next ‘Business Education for Engineers’ course

The Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) hosted a ceremony dedicated to the successful completion of the next "Business Education for Engineers" course, a joint project of BHOS and BP.

The project aims to develop leadership and management skills among engineering students and expand their career opportunities.

Out of 351 applications received from different universities across the country, 72 students who met the program criteria were selected to participate in the training.

The course completion ceremony was attended by BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov, BP Vice President Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, and the students who successfully completed the training.

Speaking at the event, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov emphasized the successful implementation of the project, noting that “more than 600 students have participated in it since 2018”. He congratulated the students and wished them success in their future activities.

BP Vice President Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli spoke about the reasons for creating the project, stressing that “participation in the project is a turning point for young people, which will play an important role in their future careers”.

It should be noted that besides BHOS students, among the graduates of the "Business Education for Engineers" course were students from the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Baku Engineering University, Azerbaijani-French University, and the National Aviation Academy.

The ceremony concluded with awarding the course graduates with joint certificates from BHOS and BP.
