A green university campus will be created in close proximity to the borders of the central part of Baku, Report informs referring to the Master Development Plan of Baku until 2040.
In order to prevent traffic congestion on the territory of Central Baku and create an educational institution on the territory with convenient transport connections with all settlements of the Absheron Peninsula, it is proposed to create a green university campus in close proximity to the borders of the central part of Baku. The campus will be fully integrated into a network of hybrid green corridors, providing low-speed vehicle access to the area.
The new campus will include private and public higher education facilities, as well as student residences, guest houses for international researchers and housing for professors and teachers.
