Gold and silver coins reflecting Azerbaijan’s historical and cultural heritage, as well as its rare fauna, were exhibited for the first time at the World Money Fair in Berlin. Azerbaijan was represented at the exhibition by “AzerGold” CJSC.

The World Money Fair, the world’s largest coin exhibition, was first held in Switzerland in 1972 and has been organized in Berlin since 2006.

Gold and silver coins, along with gold bars offered to the domestic retail market by “AzerGold” CJSC, attracted significant interest from participants at the international exhibition. Visitors were provided with detailed information about the coins showcasing Azerbaijan’s modern development, history, art, and ancient traditions.

Particular attention was drawn to the unique gold coin “100 Years and a Legacy Beyond It,” produced in a 3D format using Smartminting technology to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Other coins on display included “Uzun Hasan,” “Karabakh Pearls” from the Karabakh collection, “Karabakh Carpet – Chelebi,” “Shusha,” “Khurshidbanu Natavan,” “Zafar,” “Icherisheher,” “Heydar Aliyev Foundation,” “Heydar Aliyev Center,” “Nakhchivan,” and “Gobustan.”

A new-generation silver coin collection combining Azerbaijan’s rich natural heritage with innovative production technologies and created as part of a numismatic project aimed at protecting rare species also attracted considerable interest.

During the exhibition, the “AzerGold” CJSC delegation held a number of meetings and discussed prospects for expanding cooperation.
