To date, nearly 3,000 journalists have registered to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held in Baku next month, said Ayan Najaf, a member of the Coordination Council of the COP29 Operations Company, in her statement to journalists during a seminar titled "Understanding and analyzing ESG reports: environmental, social, and corporate governance" held in Baku, Report informs.
According to Ayan Najaf, these include both local and foreign media representatives.
"COP29 is in the spotlight of both local and international media. Today, the UN's accreditation for the 'blue zone' is being completed. The COP presidency has also started media accreditation for the 'green zone' a while ago. This will be completed by the end of October. There are about 150 applications for the 'green zone'," Najaf added.
Today's seminar discusses topics such as "Understanding the paradigm shift in the business environment," "The legal framework of ESG in Azerbaijan today," "How to read, understand and analyze ESG reports," and "Analysis of ESG reports from the industrial sector."
