Consanguineous marriages should always concern us. Because this is gradually becoming a tradition. Article 12 of the Family Code also prohibits consanguineous marriages. We must comply with the requirements of the law.

Bahar Muradova, the chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Problems, expressed these views during a public discussion on consanguineous marriages at the Social Research Center.

The chairman of the committee said that according to the statistics, in addition to the increase in consanguineous marriages, there is also an increase in the dynamics of divorces: "We refer to official statistics and speak. "There are also consanguineous marriages that take place outside of marriage."
