Azerbaijan's capital Baku celebrated 31 December - the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year on Sunday amid grandiose fireworks displays.
The city residents and guests watched the spectacular fireworks arranged by the Baku City Executive Authority at the Baku Seaside Boulevard on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year's celebrations.

New Year's pine trees were installed in most squares and parks throughout the city, and the preparatory work was implemented.
Furthermore, special holiday preparations were carried out at the Fountain Square, Baku Boulevard, and Icherisheher, all of which are popular entertainment destinations in Baku. The arrangements were conducted based on a distinct and comprehensive program, differing from previous ones.
