Artificial intelligence is applied in several directions in Azerbaijan, said Fariz Jafarov, the executive director of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Analysis and Coordination Center (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy, XQ informs.

“In Azerbaijan, artificial intelligence is applied in football, wrestling, judo and other sports. In addition, there is the possibility of using drones in agriculture, facial recognition and access to the system through ASAN Login on the electronic government portal. In SOCAR and other industrial institutions, oil and gas organizations, various projects are implemented using artificial intelligence and robots. At the same time, work is underway to scan products and investigate their details using special computers and cameras at customs checkpoints. Work is being done towards creating a corpus of the Azerbaijani language, recognizing voice and writing and answering people through artificial intelligence in call centers, asking and receiving answers from people through special mobile applications based on generative AI. We work with various parties and conduct research. We have joint cooperation with other IV industrial revolution centers in the direction of bringing world experience to Azerbaijan,” he said.
