Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy, Samad Bashirli, met with the CEO of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, and the head of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), Hani Salem Sonbol, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Economy.
The parties discussed supporting projects related to the construction of a sustainable infrastructure network in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
The meeting also discussed issues such as renewable energy, public-private cooperation projects, SME development programs, partnership with Central Asian countries within the framework of ITFC's "Trade Connect Central Asia+" project, use of Islamic Finance tools, cooperation between residents registered in economic zones in Azerbaijan and ICD.
