On April 18, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Ferit Hoxha, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Minister Bayramov congratulated the Albanian Minister on his appointment and wished him success in his responsible work.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Albania, including collaboration in the fields of political dialogue, economy, trade, energy security, transport and communications, tourism, education, and culture.
They described energy cooperation as one of the leading elements of bilateral relations.
The importance of further developing relations based on friendship, mutual respect, and mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas was emphasized.
At the same time, the significance of continuing mutually beneficial cooperation and solidarity within multilateral platforms, including international organizations, was highlighted.
The role of dialogue and diplomacy in overcoming security challenges at the regional and international levels was particularly noted.
They also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
