Georgian FM stresses importance of Azerbaijani President’s visit to Georgia

The high level reciprocal visits between Georgia and Azerbaijan are of great importance for us. As a result, the bilateral relations are rapidly developing and enhancing, resulting in cooperation across various areas, said Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, as she commented on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Tbilisi.

According to her, Georgia places great emphasis on the visit of the Azerbaijani leader, describing Azerbaijan as a strategic partner, as well as friendly and neighbourly country to Georgia. She particularly underscored the significance of fostering political and economic ties between the friendly and neighbourly countries amid the ongoing regional developments.
