Francina Armengol Socias, Speaker of the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain, arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit on January 22.
At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, decorated with the national flags of both countries, the delegation of the Spanish Parliament was welcomed by Sevil Mikayilova, Head of the Milli Majlis Working Group on Interparliamentary Relations with Spain; Ramiz Hasanov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Spain; Cristina Latorre, Spain’s Ambassador to Türkiye and Azerbaijan; José Pedro Torrubia, Chargé d’Affaires in Azerbaijan; and other officials.
As part of the visit, Francina Armengol Socias is scheduled to hold several meetings with Azerbaijani officials and exchange views on the further development of bilateral relations.
