Aziz Alakbarli, Chairman of the Western Azerbaijan Community and MP of the Milli Majlis, met with Urs Emil Unkauf, Federal Managing Director of the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA Global Economic Network), Chairman of the Board of the Germany-Azerbaijan Forum.

At the meeting, Aziz Alakbarli detailed the historical context of the systematic expulsion of Azerbaijanis from the territory of Armenia over the past two centuries, current situation in the region, and the activities carried out by the Community.

He emphasized the importance of collaborating with global partners in restoring historical justice, ensuring the right of return, and protecting cultural heritage.

Urs Emil Unkauf highlighted the possibility of discussing the issue in Germany. He said that it is possible to organize additional correspondence, events and thematic meetings in this direction within the Germany-Azerbaijan Forum, which brings together high-ranking officials - figures at the level of ministers and deputy ministers – who join the Forum's activities, and explore the crucial topical issues.

The sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
