Delegations led by the Minister of ICT and Innovation of Rwanda and the Chief Secretary of Zimbabwe visited the “ASAN Khidmet” Center and learned about its activities.
The delegations were briefed on the “ASAN Khidmet” Centers, established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, and on innovative solutions implemented in public services.
It was also highlighted that ASAN has become an intellectual brand exported to over 30 countries.
During the meeting with the Rwandan delegation, the significance of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation—signed in June this year between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan and the Rwanda Development Board, concerning the establishment of a mechanism for providing advanced public services—was emphasized.
An agreement was also reached to organize a visit by the State Agency delegation to Rwanda to assess the implementation of the “ASAN Khidmet” experience there.
During the meeting with the Zimbabwean delegation, the visit of Zimbabwe’s President to the “ASAN Khidmet” Center in November last year was warmly recalled.
The Zimbabwean side proposed signing a Memorandum of Understanding in the near future to implement the “ASAN Khidmet” concept. The delegation also expressed interest in studying the “ASAN Khidmet Index.”
The delegations also familiarized themselves with the activities of the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, Mobile ASAN Khidmet, the “ABAD” Public Legal Entity, and the “Bilim Baku” Center.
