“Large-scale demining work was carried out in the liberated territories. In 2024, 62 thousand hectares, and in total, nearly 180 thousand hectares in the liberated territories, were cleared of landmines and unexploded ordnance,” Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said in his remarks concerning the Cabinet’s 2024 report at the Milli Majlis session on Friday.
“More than 65 thousand hectares of land are scheduled to be cleared of mines in 2025,” Asadov added.
