Finland, in its capacity as the Chairman of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), is committed to further facilitating dialogue between Baku and Yerevan to ensure sustainable and long-term peace in the South Caucasus region.
In response to a request from Report, the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that supporting lasting peace in the South Caucasus is one of Finland's priorities as the OSCE Chair this year.
"We encourage Armenia and Azerbaijan to do all possible to make peace. Finland is committed to continue dialogue with the parties, including at the highest political level, in order to find a durable solution. Finland, as OSCE Chair-in-Office, stands ready to discuss the future role of the OSCE in the region," the ministry said.
