Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is conducting a two-day seminar themed "Modern Diplomacy in the Digital Age" as part of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country’s joining the Partnership for Peace (PfP) Framework Document, Report informs, citing MFA.
Young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are participating in the seminar.
Within the framework of the seminar, discussions will focus on the changes brought by the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) to the implementation of diplomacy in modern international relations, as well as the risks and opportunities of using ICT.
During the event, young diplomats will also learn about cybersecurity and disinformation issues, methods used to prevent them, and ways to implement response measures in dealing with current challenges in the international relations system.
