Azerbaijan and Armenia will return to discussing the peace treaty text next month, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, told TASS, Report informs.
"At the moment, Azerbaijan's main agenda focus is COP-29 until the end of November," he said on the sidelines of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-29) in Baku.
"Certainly, starting from December, a new process will begin between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the discussion and continuation of negotiations on the peace treaty text," he noted.
According to Hajiyev, there are certain issues in the document's text. "Therefore, discussions and negotiations continue at the expert level," added the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan.
"That's because the Armenian side did not respond to our proposals regarding the peace treaty text in time. And therefore, we feel a delayed process in this context. Certainly, starting from December, there will be a new process."
