Tokyo Governor praises Baku's cleanliness and charm during COP29 Visit

Yuriko Koike, the Governor of Tokyo, Japan's capital, expressed her admiration for Baku's cleanliness and beauty during her visit to Azerbaijan for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, Baku City Executive Power told Report informs.

In a meeting with Eldar Azizov, the head of Baku City Executive Power, Governor Koike shared her delight in being in Azerbaijan and participating in the COP29 event. She specifically highlighted the rapid development of Azerbaijan and Baku city in recent years.

Eldar Azizov warmly welcomed the Japanese delegation, expressing his pleasure in hosting them in Baku. He provided an informative overview of the capital city, attributing its development to the leadership and efforts of the country's President, Ilham Aliyev.

The meeting also served as a platform to discuss potential future cooperation between the two capital cities.
