Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission convenes for another meeting

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan held another meeting on Thursday, chaired by Mazahir Panahov.
The commission reviewed appeals concerning the snap parliamentary elections held on September 1, 2024.
At the meeting, which attended by relevant stakeholders, detailed insights were shared regarding the comprehensive, objective and transparent investigation process conducted with the personal participation of the applicants.
After thorough discussions, the CEC members made decisions on the appeals. The cases were processed promptly, adhering to the legal timeframes and procedures, ensuring the effective protection of citizens' electoral rights.
The meeting also included extensive discussions on other current issues.
