"We conducted an exit poll at 952 polling stations, gathering the opinions of over 76,000 voters. The process went smoothly without any issues," said Rado Fonda, head of research at the Italian SWG S.P.A. Research Company, which conducted an "exit-poll" regarding the preliminary results of the early parliamentary elections, at a press conference held on September 1.
"We surveyed eligible voters of legal age, and the exit poll was completed within 3 minutes," he added.
The parliamentary elections were held in 6478 polling stations in 125 constituencies. 990 candidates competed in the parliamentary elections.
