The Central Election Commission has registered the candidacies of 1255 persons for parliamentary seats, of which 1141 were approved,” Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at a meeting held on Saturday.
“1092 of them have received signature sheets, while 388 of them have already submitted signature sheets to constituency election commissions, and candidacies of 87 persons were approved,” the CEC chairman added.
