“We are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Somalia in 2024,” said Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a joint press conference with Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The FM noted that there are numerous opportunities for cooperation between the two countries. He specifically pointed out their collaboration within international organizations such as the UN, the Non-Aligned Movement, and the OIC as notable areas of engagement.
