“Expanding relations with African countries has always been a priority for Azerbaijan,” said Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a joint press conference with Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The minister noted that Azerbaijan made significant efforts during its chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement to advocate for the interests of African countries on international platforms and to enhance bilateral relations.
“During our chairmanship, Azerbaijan undertook key initiatives such as establishing the Parliamentary Network and the Youth Organization,” Bayramov added.
