Turkish media: Shusha Summit is an important step towards unity of Turkic world

The leading news agencies, TV channels and newspapers of Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) have widely covered the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Shusha on Saturday.
Türkiye's "Sabah" newspaper published an article headlined "Our strength lies in our unity" highlighting the Shusha Summit. The article quoted President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as saying: "The 21st century must be a century of progress of the Turkic world."
The reportage prepared by Turkish TV channel NTV drew attention to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's call to establish alphabet unity of the Turkic world.
DHA and Anadolu news agencies posted articles featuring remarks by Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz in Shusha.
The articles also highlighted remarks by the head of the Turkish delegation about Karabakh's historically belonging to Azerbaijan, as well as Ankara's readiness to host the 31st UN Climate Change Conference (COP31) and the importance of developing the Middle Transport Corridor.
The articles published by the Northern Cyprus media outlets emphasized the importance of the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Shusha in strengthening unity and cooperation in the Turkic world.
