Azerbaijan supports the signing of a peace treaty with Armenia.
Report informs that the absolute majority of the respondents participating in a survey conducted by the Social Research Center said they are in favor of peace with Armenia.
According to the results of the survey conducted on June 10-22 among 1,152 respondents aged 18 and above, 83.8% of respondents answered “Yes, I do” to the question “Do you support the signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia?”, while 13.5% answered, “No, I don’t”.
As many as 2.7% of the respondents found it difficult to answer the question.
The center believes that the survey results indicate the society's strong support for the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
