Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić.
During the phone conversation, the ministers discussed the current state and future prospects of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia, as well as cooperation on multilateral platforms.
The parties emphasized the importance of reciprocal high-level visits and beneficial interaction within international organizations. They also highlighted the significance of economic and cultural cooperation across various domains, including energy, high technologies, transport, humanitarian efforts, education, tourism, alternative energy, and others.
Minister Ivica Dačić said that Serbia attaches special importance to strategic cooperation with Azerbaijan, and noted the importance of mutual support for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
During the conversation, the ministers also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
