Azerbaijan, China hail great prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation

Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), Head of the Central Administration Tahir Budagov met Wednesday with the Chinese Ambassador to the country Guo Min.

 

They hailed the successful development of Azerbaijan-China relations within the framework of friendship and trusted partnership, emphasizing that the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, which supports each other’s territorial integrity and respects each other’s national interests, holds great promise.

 

Furthermore, they underscored the importance attached by the leaders of both nations, Azerbaijani President and Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Ilham Aliyev, and President of the People’s Republic of China and General Secretary of the China’s Communist Party (CCP) Xi Jinping, to the enhancement of bilateral relations.

 

The two also expressed both countries’ keenness for expanding relations across political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other domains, highlighting the great importance of cooperation within the "One Belt, One Road" initiative and the Middle Corridor.

 

They also highlighted the role of cooperation between the two countries’ ruling parties in development of the Azerbaijan-China relations.

 

Ambassador Guo Min expressed her confidence for Azerbaijan’s further successful development, as well as strengthening of the country’s authority in the international relations system.
