Turkic states themselves should create a list of their rich cultural heritage, Kubanichbek Omuraliyev, Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), told journalists, Report informs.

"The international conference themed 'Study and Preservation of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World from the Perspective of UNESCO' held today in Baku is very important. The topic of today's conference suggests that the Turkic world and our peoples have a common and rich heritage that we should pass on to future generations."

According to Omuraliyev, despite the rich heritage of the Turkic states, not all cultural objects are included in the list of UNESCO, but together with TURKSOY, the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation, joint activities can be carried out in this direction: "Only together can we move forward and pass on our legacy to future generations."
