This is, actually, my second time I am participating in this conference on Islamophobia. This conference has become very important international platform to fight against Islamophobia,” said Chargé d'affaires of Sudan in Azerbaijan Mustafa Abdel Halim, who attended the international conference themed “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024” held in Baku.
Noting that Islamophobia is rising, especially in Western countries, the Sudanese diplomat mentioned that Muslim countries should fight against Islamophobia in solidarity. “I would like to seize this opportunity to extend my warmest gratitude to the government of Azerbaijan for hosting the second edition of this conference," he added.
