Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the US Khazar Ibrahim spoke at an event organized at the initiative of the Caspian Policy Center, which is a leading American think tank studying the Caspian region, the US bureau of Report informs.
At the event the diplomat informed those present in detail about innovations and development in Azerbaijan and the Caspian region.
Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim told those present about the development of the situation in Azerbaijan and the Caspian region, as well as about the future of his country.
He talked about peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the mine problem in the Karabakh economic region, the complete destruction of territories during the occupation, the destruction of the mosques that existed there, as well as the reconstruction of the Karabakh region under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev within the framework of programs approved by the head of state, the return of internally displaced persons to their native lands, the work carried out by Azerbaijan to return former internally displaced persons to their native lands, and create economic and green zones in regions liberated from occupation.
At the end of the event, Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim answered questions from the event participants.
