Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia issues statement regarding snap presidential election

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia has issued a statement regarding the snap presidential election scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan on February 7.

 

“Azerbaijani citizens aged 18 and above, who are temporarily residing, studying and working in Georgia, can exercise their voting rights at the polling station established at the embassy.”

 

“A Precinct Election Commission N47 of Yasamal Second Election Commission N416, established at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia is located at Vakhtang Gorgasali Street, Tbilisi.

 

Azerbaijan citizens aged 18 and above can exercise their voting rights by presenting one of the following valid documents, including domestic passport, diplomatic passport or service passport to the designated precinct election commission.

 

Simultaneously, Azerbaijan citizens aged 18, who are eligible to vote but don’t have relevant passports mentioned above, can participate in the voting process by presenting a valid ID card.

 

Voting for the presidential election will commence on February 7 at 08:00 a.m. and conclude at 19:00 p.m.”, the statement reads.
