Minister: Georgian people are very happy with Azerbaijan's success

Expanding cooperation in the education sector will serve as a bridge for closer ties between Azerbaijan and Georgia, Georgian Minister of Education and Science Giorgi Amilakhvari said at a meeting with the teaching staff of Baku State University (BSU), Report informs.

 

“Over the past three decades, cooperation between our countries has developed at all levels. And deepening ties in the field of education will serve the benefit of the two countries. It is necessary to continue work in this direction,” he said.

 

Amilakhvari stressed that the Georgian people are very happy that Azerbaijan was able to fully restore its sovereignty.

 

“On the issue of violation of territorial integrity, we understand you very well, because we also faced this problem. The Georgian people are very happy with the success of Azerbaijan,” the minister added.
