Azerbaijan has today passed on the Chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to Uganda during the 19th Summit of NAM Heads of State and Government held in the Ugandan capital Kampala.
Azerbaijan chaired the Movement in 2019-2022. Following the unanimous decision of NAM member states, the country’s chairmanship has been extended for another year.
