“The United States greatly values our relationship with Azerbaijan,” said William Joyce, US Acting Assistant Secretary for the Office of International Affairs of the Department of Energy, as he addressed the official reception marking May 28 – the Independence Day and June 26 – the Armed Forces Day of Azerbaijan in Washington.
“The U.S.-Azerbaijan relationship has some of the greatest potential to unleash the long-term benefits of energy. The United States is excited to see Azerbaijan increasing its role as an energy partner of ours and of the world,” the official of the Department of Energy emphasized.
