Former Turkish presidential candidate Sinan Ogan suggested holding the Turkish Super Cup at Khankandi Stadium, Report informs via the social network X.
"If you definitely want to play abroad, I recommend the stadium in Khankandi. Otherwise, it is better to hold the final in the capital..." the politician wrote, commenting on the cancellation of the match between the Turkish Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in Riyadh.
The Turkish Super Cup match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, which was scheduled to take place on December 29 in Riyadh, was canceled after Saudi authorities banned football players from entering the field wearing T-shirts with the image of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Club leaders decided not to take the field and return to Türkiye.
