A peace treaty does not mean 100 percent solution to everything, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said in an interview with AzTV.

According to him, Azerbaijan is the author of all important initiatives related to the peace agreement:

"The process does not depend on the wishes of one side. It is important that both sides take appropriate steps here. After the full restoration of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, we are closely following the messages of the political leadership of Armenia. We also hear some positive feedback."

The minister said that Baku received the next package of proposals for a peace treaty from Yerevan at the end of November this year:

"The package of proposals that we developed within a month was presented to Armenia. The process continues. I think that the meetings will take place in 2024. We look at this issue realistically and optimistically. At the same time, when we talk about a peace agreement, we must understand that it does not mean a 100 percent solution to everything."
