The authoritative newspaper of Mexico El Economista has published an interview with the Azerbaijani ambassador to the country Mammad Talibov entitled “Azerbaijan wants peace with Armenia”, in response to Armenia’s slanderous campaign against Azerbaijan, which was previously published in the above-mentioned publication, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico.

The article states that local anti-terrorism measures put an end to the dreams of the Armenian separatists of Karabakh for independence and that historical justice has been restored.

It is noted that the territories of Azerbaijan were occupied by Armenia for almost 30 years, and hundreds of thousands of people were forced to leave their native lands.

The interview provides information about the opportunities created for foreign companies, as well as about the restoration and construction work carried out in the territories liberated from occupation. It is also noted that Azerbaijan supports the signing of a peace agreement between the two countries, the opening of regional transport and communication links, as well as the delimitation and demarcation of internationally recognized borders.
