Let's not deceive ourselves: foreign influence has always been high in Armenia. For three decades, Armenia has taken a path that is completely incompatible with the problems it faces. As a result of these, political crises have arisen in Armenia.

According to "Caliber", political scientist Akop Badalyan said this in an interview with the Armenian press.

"Of course, the majority would like to change the government, but this wish in itself does not mean that such steps can be taken. There should be a clear perspective. The question of staying in power in Armenia will depend on the external environment, and the situation that has arisen in our country today is beneficial for everyone. Today, there is no political force in Armenia that really wants to come to power and take responsibility. Currently, the Armenian authorities are plunging us into illusions with their statements. In order not to fall into the trap of illusions and avoid disaster, we must be able to assess the situation," Akop Badalyan emphasized.

Commenting on Nikol Pashinyan's involvement of the West in the region, political scientist said that the West is not interested in Armenia. A. Badalyan emphasized that an agreement should be reached only with Turkey and Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus: "We are talking about France. France must agree."
