As part of his working visit to Brussels, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov attended and spoke at an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM), Report informs.
Jeyhun Bayramov said that in the post-conflict period, a historic opportunity for peace and development emerged in the South Caucasus region, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry wrote on X.
The minister spoke about Azerbaijan’s vision for the GUAM presidency in 2024 and the prospects for cooperation within the organization.
The foreign minister emphasized the importance of respecting the norms and principles of international law against the backdrop of the current geopolitical situation.
