The State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of the Consumer Market under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan has prepared amendments to the law “On Advertising,” Report informs, citing the state service.
In order to improve legislation, the state service studied international experience (Türkiye, Russia, EU, UK) in regulating advertising activities on digital platforms and prepared amendments. In particular, the amendments envisage introducing into legislation new concepts and norms regulating the characteristics of advertising posted on internet information resources.
