The 6th Summer Camp of Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth, dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty," successfully wrapped up in Azerbaijan’s city of Khankendi.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, and Shahin Bayramov, Rector of Garabagh University, highlighted the importance of youth development in state policy and the camp's role in strengthening national identity and diaspora networks.

The ceremony featured the screening of a video highlighting the camp, the presentation of certificates to participants and volunteers, as well as awarding the winning teams of the intellectual games, "Khankendi" and "Zafar."

Participants expressed gratitude for their time in Karabakh, noting it was an unforgettable experience. They commended learning about the history of the Karabakh’s occupation, the war, and the ongoing restoration efforts.

The 6th Summer Camp of Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth, which run from August 3 to 9, jointly organized by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, brought together 128 young Azerbaijanis from 61 countries, along with participants from other friendly nations.

The Diaspora Youth Summer Camp has attracted significant interest and popularity both within Azerbaijan and among diaspora communities abroad.

The previous Diaspora Youth Summer Camps were held in the cities of Sheki, Shamakhi, Shusha, Nakhchivan, and Lachin.

These camps have been very popular, attracting significant interest both within Azerbaijan and among the diaspora. The initiative brings together Azerbaijani youth from around the world to strengthen their ties with their homeland, enhance their national identity, and get a firsthand look at Azerbaijan's history and ongoing development. The camps have been a successful platform for cultural exchange and community building.
